Baywindow sofa couch
Many real estate companies in Hong Kong have baywindow in every room of the apartment. Generally, the windows are next to them and so it is cooler and more airy. Therefore, it is a an excellent choice to turn it into a sofa space. With the addition of cushions for your backs, it is sure comfy for all the friends you have visiting.
Baywindow seat
This is another great option if you are someone who enjoys entertaining guests on a regular basis. The original intention is not much different from that of the baywindow sofa couch, but you can add a number of pillows as a substitute for long back cushions. It sure makes the cold looking baywindow more homy and the pillows can be taken to wherever you need them as a plus.
Baywindow bed
Generally, baywindows in Hong Kong are 50-75 cm wide. In fact, a single bed is about 90 cm and a double bed is about 120 cm. You can choose to make a custom-made window sill bed, so you can save the place where you originally wanted to put the bed. As a plus the underside of the bed can be used for storage, it is no longer a problem to pop in an extra table in the room! However, please note that the minimum length required for a mattress is 183 cm.
Baywindow desk
The baywindow is placed by the window and of course, this is where plenty of natural light can be found. This is perfect for work at home professionals, but there is a small problem to consider because the height of the baywindow is generally higher than that of a work desk. So you would most likely need to raise the height of the flooring, before you can sit back in a comfortable sitting position and crack on with your work.
In addition, as the baywindow is made of a solid block of concrete, it is usually not possible to place the feet on the bottom of the platform. So it is best to make the desk protruding outwards a little or have a push-pull design. Just like a computer keyboard, so it’s much more comfortable to use!
Baywindow Bookcase
The baywindow can also be matched with a nice looking bookcase. Putting down the books can instantly bring a sense of wisdom to the home. In the future, there will be no need for another bookcase which would sure save up your precious space!
